Meet Jo, I'm happiest when surrounded by family, fuelled by my strange addiction to cleaning (yes, I find it therapeutic!). I’m a novice baker always chasing the perfect cookie, and I love breathing new life into old furniture—there’s just something magical about turning the worn and forgotten into something beautiful again.

Meet Christina (she/her), our compassionate counsellor at Whatever Whanganui. With a passion for supporting individuals through life's challenges, Christina brings warmth, empathy, and a wealth of experience to her role. She is also the Chairperson of Pride Whanganui, where she advocates for the LGBTTQIA+ community and fosters inclusivity and support. When she’s not helping others, Christina loves to unwind by capturing beautiful moments through photography, spending quality time with her wife, and exploring new adventures. Whether you're seeking guidance or simply a listening ear, Christina is here to support you on your journey.
Meet Brianna our new Counsellor. I have a passion for helping people through their life struggles and I see it as a privilege to walk alongside people in this way. I love spending time with family and friends and outside of work I will often be found doing some DIY project, something to do with sport, or doing a reset of my whole house, which I strangely enjoy! I love being around people so I will normally find someone to come along with me for my projects
Meet Nick, an old social worker, but with a young outlook! When not making a positive impact, he dives into books, tackles DIY projects, and cherishes moments with his wife and furry companions Molly and Archie, creating a balance that defines both his work and life.
Meet Riana, our GP, whose passion for the fullness of life is reflected in both the way she works and how she lives her life. Outside the clinic you will find her mountain biking, surfing, tramping, gardening and clearing traps for pest control. Most of all she loves to move, whether in the corridor or on d-floor, if there is music playing you will likely find her dancing! To balance all this work and movement she also loves regular meditation and chill time with her friends and whanau.
Donna, a dedicated sexual health nurse, swaps hospital scrubs for nature walks. Outside work, she revels in leisurely strolls, finding peace in the great outdoors. A soft spot for animals makes her downtime complete, showcasing a nurturing side that extends beyond the clinic walls.
